Boabe Tree
A Boabe Tree is known in West Africa as the tree of life. A proper name given it provides so many different things. The designers of this property really wanted to bring the natural beauty of gods creations inside on this project, asking for this 30’ tall and almost 27’ wide indoor Boabe tree surrounded by an elaborate bar with a plethora of enormous light fixtures hanging from the tree. The full scale of this build will not be revealed until Nov 2020 at the Grand opening of this massive resort. This project was first brought to Tiki King in early 2018 and though months of planning and development, countless conference calls and budgeting a design was created for this enormous tree. The tree was fabricated and wrapped at one of our vendors shops in Indonesia which took month to complete. Once completed the tree started it’s 3-month journey to the United Sates. it was disassembled and placed in shipping containers. From there the 2 containers boarded a Giant freighter ship bound for the west coast of the United States. Once in America the containers were transferred onto a train and made there way across the US until finally being placed on a semi-truck and brought to the site. This is were the fun really began This creation in whole weighs over 9000 pounds. Special equipment had to be found just to lift the pieces into place inside the lobby of this resort. As usual Tiki King though months of planning found the right equipment and personal to handle the immense task of assembling this Boabe tree in it’s final resting place where it belongs. More pictures to follow once the grand opening has taken place and we can share the location with all of you.
